BACKGROUND:
We live in an increasingly complex time with deceptive phishing emails and other cyber security threats. This environment necessitates improved security procedures for making changes to banking information related to Direct Deposit in PeopleSoft Employee Self Service (ESS). The new security procedures will use an additional passcode as a secondary verification for making changes to your ESS Direct Deposit bank information. Go live of these changes is targeted on March 6, 2023

This section is to assist with communicating these changes with district staff. Please note, there is a requirement for a 30-day advanced set up of the MFA (Multi-Factor Authentification) Contact Phone Number for receiving the new verification passcodes. To provide time in advance of go live, the new MFA Contact Phone Number Type is now available on the ESS Personal Details page. A Primary Email Account will also be required to gain access to make changes to banking information.
