Our Services

The SDCOE Customer Resource Center (CRC) creates documentation, guides, and job aids; conducts training and demos for PeopleSoft Finance, HCM, and Hyperion; provides help desk support; conducts workshops and labs; and communicates information to district and charter school contacts. Our staff is made up of 4 Finance analysts, 4 HCM analysts, 3 technicians, 1 supervisor, and 1 director.

Oracle PeopleSoft - Finance, HCM, Hyperion

Beginning in January 2014, in conjunction with the Modernization, Improvement and Transformation Initiative (MITI), the CRC provides training and support as Oracle PeopleSoft is implemented across San Diego County. We support the following applications:

  • PeopleSoft Finance: General Ledger, Budget Monitoring (Commitment Control), Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Financial Asset Management, and Travel & Expenses.

  • PeopleSoft HCM: HR (Salary Administration, Position Management, Department Budget Table, New Hires & Job Data, Personnel Action Form), Benefits Administration, Absence Management, Time & Labor, Rapid Time, and Payroll

  • Hyperion

Legacy Applications - Financial Information System (FIS), Payroll/Personnel System, and Subsystems

The CRC provides software quality assurance, user support, and technical assistance to school districts, training and procedural materials for the SDCOE Legacy Applications which include Financial Information System (FIS), Payroll/Personnel System, and subsystems that are created and maintained by the Information Management Services within the SDCOE. We support the following SDCOE Legacy applications and supporting systems: 
  • Financial Information System (FIS): Inquiry, Purchasing, Stores System, Auditors Transfers
  • Budget Preparation, Fixed Assets: Applications that are separate from FIS but work with data contained in FIS
  • Payroll/Personnel, Payroll Extract Files
  • Position Control, Human Resources and Leave: Web-based systems that work with data contained in FIS
  • CTC Bridge: Connectivity and file transfer support
  • J200 Files Supporting Utility
  • Report Manager ISView (TREEV) 
  • Ad Hoc Reporting

HEAT Ticket System
