Use Tax Object changed to 9510996 for Group 4 organizations

For Bonsall, Del Mar, Guajome Park Academy & Learning Centers, Julian Charter, Lemon Grove, National, Oceanside, Ramona, Rancho Santa Fe, San Ysidro, Santee, SIA Tech Charter, Solana Beach, and Valley Center-Pauma

From MITI: An update was made to the object to which use tax is accrued. Vouchers that were entered between April 1 and April 28 were incorrectly configured to charge use tax to object 5800995. The object was changed to 9510996 late in the afternoon of April 28, 2016.

There are two things that you need to be aware of regarding this:

1. In the AP module only, the vouchers that were entered prior to April 28 will show on the Use tax query (sample below) with object 5800995. You will notice that the object changes after the configuration was updated. This is in the AP module ONLY. Use tax should not be paid from 5800995. All use tax should be paid to the State from object 9510996.

2. In the General Ledger, the object was corrected BEFORE the AP journals posted into the GL. This means that all use tax amounts were posted into the GL using the correct object 9510996. When it is time to pay your use tax to the State, it should all be paid from object 9510996. Do not pay any use tax from 5800995 because there are no balances in the GL in that object.
