For SDCOE Managers only

SDCOE MANAGERS: When an employee submits an absence request in PeopleSoft, you receive an email message from the employee’s email address indicating that there is an absence request to approve. This message is titled “There is an Absence Request awaiting your approval.” Below is an example of how it should appear. The link should begin with “sdhp92.”

Email message with good link

Between Saturday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 9 at 8:30 am, if you received an email message to approve an absence, it might have contained a bad link that begins with “localhost.” This link does not function. This was reported to the technical team and was resolved this morning.

If you received an email message with a “localhost” link, please go directly into Employee Self-Service at https://ess.erp.sdcoe.net and use the Approve Absence Requests screen (or the Worklist) to approve the absence. Directions are on p.19 of PeopleSoft Employee Self-Service Guide v1.2.pdf. Future email messages that you receive will contain the correct link.
