The Retiree Benefits guide was recently updated. The newest version is available at Retiree Benefits Guide v1.1.pdf
Updates in v1.1:
- Part B: Create the Retiree Position: On p.18, Step 9 now states, “If you created the position from a copy using the “Initialize” button, you must verify that the Classified Indicator is populated.”
- Part C: Set Up the Department Budget Table (DBT) for Retirement with Benefits Positions: On p.20, Step 3 was added to indicate that you need to enter the effective date of the new Retiree position.
