PeopleSoft HCM performance issue resolved, please start a new browser session if you are still experiencing slowness

This is a follow-up announcement to the one sent earlier today regarding slowness in PeopleSoft HCM. We identified that of the two web servers used for HCM, one of them was spinning (hung up).

We took this web server out of service at about 11:45 am; no new sessions can be initiated on it. Any user who logged into HCM after 11:45 am should have seen a performance improvement.

As of 12:50 pm, there are still 23 active connections lingering on the "out of service" web server. If you are still experiencing slowness in HCM, please sign out of PeopleSoft, close your browser, and start a new browser session. You can do this by changing browsers (Chrome to Firefox, for example), or by opening a New incognito window (Chrome), New private window (Firefox), or New session (Internet Explorer).
