New Mileage and Travel System begins July 6, 2015 for SDCOE employees – REGISTER FOR TRAINING NOW

Beginning July 6, 2015, the San Diego County Office of Education will have a new system for entering mileage and travel requests and reimbursements as part of the transition to PeopleSoft. This new Travel & Expense module will replace the current mileage and travel requisition process. If you enter travel authorizations, it is recommended that you attend classroom-based training. If you do not attend the classroom-based training, you can read the training guide, which has step-by-step directions. It will be available at beginning July 6, 2015.

Travel & Expense training will cover business policies, procedures, and a walkthrough of the process for creating travel authorizations (for travel) and expense reports (for travel and for mileage) in PeopleSoft. There are two training opportunities available to you in July:
  • Monday, July 13 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm(SDCOE Learning Labs 2-4) 
  • Monday, July 20 from 1:30 - 4:30 pm (SDCOE Learning Labs 2-4) 
Registration is required.
  1. Go to Go Sign Me Up (GSMU) at
  2. Using the menu on the left side of the screen click Finance > Travel and Expenses.
  3. You will see three training dates on the screen, with the number of seats left. Register for either TE1-2 (7/13/15) or TE1-3 (7/20/15). For the desired section, click Add to Cart, then Checkout. 
  4. If you have never used GSMU, you will need to create an account at this stage before you can finish the checkout.
