New Compensation Split link in PeopleSoft ESS

Effective Friday, April 29, 2016, all employees will see a new Compensation Split link in PeopleSoft Employee Self-Service (ESS). After a paycheck is available, click Compensation Split to view your earnings in greater detail. Multiple Components of Pay (MCOPs), additional pays, stipends, payroll earnings, and items which add to the total gross are now listed as line items with corresponding values.

Directions:
  1. Log in to PeopleSoft Employee Self-Service (ESS) at https://ess.erp.sdcoe.net.

  2. In the Payroll pagelet, click the Compensation Split link.

  3. For the desired pay period, click the View Compensation button.

  4. In the Multiple compensation information window that opens, view your earnings in greater details.
    NOTE: A paycheck must be present to view data pertaining to the processed pay period. Below are 4 examples of this view for employees with multiple compensation information. For more information about the Multiple Components of Pay and Additional Pay codes you see, please refer to Multiple Components of Pay vs Additional Pay v4.0.pdf.
