PeopleSoft has been configured to support districts to be in compliance with the Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Family Act of 2104 by accruing sick leave.
Tracking and Accruals
When hiring new Temporary or Substitute employees, you will need to enroll them in Absence Management. in the Absence Management Section enter a Pay Group. The Pay Group is your three digit district number and either TEMP or SUB. NOTE: Do not add Accrual Hours Factor as they are determined through the initial configuration.
Navigation: Main Menu > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data > Payroll
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data > Payroll
2. Enter a Pay Group in the Absence Management System area. This will be the three digit district number and TEMP or SUB. For example, 099TEMP.
