Fluid/UX Update – 10/11/19 3:45 PM

We have continued to receive a very low number of support tickets attributed to the upgrade and the majority of those tickets are “how to” tickets instead of “fix it” tickets. We have been maintaining a running list of things to be aware of and reported issues at http://crc.sdcoe.net/projects/fluid.

New things to be aware of:
  • WorkCenters include a feature for opening a new window by left-clicking on the Icon to the left of the Page link. Right-clicking on the Page Link is not a supported function for the WorkCenters.
  • There is an Oracle Bug for page links that contain a ‘s in the description such as Buyer’s Workbench which is causing the link not to work. This includes both My Favorites and NavBar menu pages with ‘s in the description.
Outstanding Issues Update (yellow highlight remains unresolved)

  • 10/7/19 1:10 pm: A couple of issues have reported that the Finance Worklist is “tiny” - only showing a small rectangle at the top-left rather than the entire Worklist. This appears to be happening in Chrome, but not for all Chrome users. We have reported this to the tech team.
    •  This issue was isolated to SecureAuth logins only and has been resolved
  • 10/7/19 3:00 pm: A few people have reported that they can’t right-click a link to open to a new tab - they are getting an error that says it’s blocked. We think this might be a pop-up blocker error. We are still trying to collect more information on what exactly is occurring.
