Employee Tax Federal Data issues when current employee hired into an additional assignment

An issue has been discovered with the employee 2020 Federal Tax data row when a current employee is hired into an additional assignment. The issue is that the system will insert a “2020 or later” row and default the Federal Tax data back to Single/0 when the additional Empl Rec is added to Job Data. This is a known issue with Oracle and the bug fix is included in the next tax update. We are promptly working to get it resolved and will communicate a target date soon.

Until this issue is resolved, the M_PY_FED_STATE_TAX_DATA query will help identify those employees who are currently being affected. If you need a row removed from the Update Employee Tax Data screen please submit a Service Portal Ticket.
