In PeopleSoft, Direct Deposits (ACH files) are set up at Main Menu > Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Request Direct Deposit.
With the implementation of PeopleSoft, Direct Deposits (ACH files) are set up at the employee level based on a unique Social Security Number, not by employer. Thus, direct deposit instructions are no longer unique by employer. The employee’s direct deposit instructions are set up only once and are used for all employers. Multiple banking institutions for deposits may be selected. The distribution of amounts must sum to 100 percent. The distribution of amounts for each banking institution is applied in the same manner for all employers.
When you add a new row to change a direct deposit there is no need to re-enter the additional deposits. All prior row information is carried forward to the new row. If you need to stop one bank account, just delete it from the new row.
