ACA reporting tools for districts using 3rd Party Administrators

It was originally sent on October 24, 2016 from Laura Vaca directly to contacts at Cajon Valley, Coronado, Del Mar, Encinitas, Escondido Elementary, Escondido High, Fallbrook Elementary, Fallbrook High, Lemon Grove, National, Oceanside, Ramona, Rancho Santa Fe, San Dieguito, San Marcos, San Ysidro, Solana Beach, South Bay, Valley Center-Pauma, and Vista.


From MITI: We have two reports that are available in PeopleSoft HCM to assist districts that use third party vendors for their ACA Administration.

One of the reports is a query called M_HR_PAY_ACA_REPORT (Main Menu > Reporting Tools > Query > Query Viewer). This query is similar to the PSNL extract file in Legacy and contains several HR and Payroll fields required to determine Safe Harbor codes, Employee types and Eligibility status. You may need to remove duplicates.

The second report is ACA Report by District (Main Menu > SDCOE Custom > Benefits > Reports > ACA Report by District). This report shows the employee’s earnings and hours worked during each pay period. This report is similar to the TMPAY extract report in Legacy. You may designate a “look back” period of several months. The hours and earnings have been summed for each pay period and assigned to the primary Empl record. There is also HR data in this report and includes the employee’s Social Security number. Please use caution when sending this report to your 3rd party administrator.
